Ian Campbell

Ian Campbell is a theatre artist, digital content creator, and educator based in St. John’s, NL. From 2015-2018 he served as the Artistic Director of the Shakespeare by the Sea Festival, where highlights included directing A Comedy of Errors and Timon of Athens. In 2020, he was a key member of the team that re-imagined the St. John’s International CircusFest as a digital gathering in response to the pandemic. Ian is frequently asked to provide advice to performing arts organizations on how to create digital or hybrid theatre events that centre human connection over technology.
